Breaking Data: Hausa Have Never Ruled Nigeria; Murtala Was Berom

Jan 13, 2014

NewsRescue – In our effort to reveal the amazing truths hidden in popular narratives, NewsRescue once again breaks a rather interesting piece of history about Nigeria.

Jonathan Ijaw {Igbo according to Radio Biafra}
Jonathan Ijaw {Ijaw are Igbo according to Radio Biafra}

The Hausa ethnic group has never ruled the nation. A group ‘marginalized’ as are most of 516 ethnic groups in Nigeria, popularly attributed Hausa rule has actually been Fulani only.

Hausa’s are about 20.6% of Nigeria’s population, the second largest group after Yoruba’s (21%). The Fulani are about 9%. Usually, Hausa and Fulani are crudely combined to create a largest block of 29%. The Igbo are about 18%, followed by the Ijaw, 10% and Kanuri, 4%.

NewsRescue is not in the least piqued by ethnic rotation, and ONLY supports the selection of morally upright and intelligent candidates from whatever region of Nigeria ; however this piece of news is fascinating headlines. Please review list below:
